Supplies for Reborn Artistry Tasks

DIS-ASSEMBLY
 Snippers: to cut
plastic cable ties, and strings that hold the limbs together on soft bodies.
Exacto blade or sharp
knife: Used to sculpt, cut, and adjust features.
***NOTE: Use extreme caution - respect your tools.

Acetone: for paint
removal + cotton balls & latex gloves |
BATHING

Dyes
or Colors: Inside Color Washing

Rit
Dye Option: Wine & Pink, Pink & Tan, Brown (don't use purple).
Only the liquid dye is recommended, otherwise the vinyl can be
spotted by the powder if it's not dissolved properly. |

Purple
Wash Option: Lavender Acrylic or Oil-based Paint (don't
use purple). |
|
|
Pigment
Inks: Used for Subtle Veining after the bathing and the baby is dry.

Permanent
Markers Option: (Blue, Green, Black)
These are to be used for INSIDE the limbs only.
Do NOT use permanent markers on the outside of the vinyl.

Option: Based on Size of Head. Measure head around forehead, which
will give the size.
Measure
head around forehead and around the back. This will give you the size to use.
Most wigs come in a 1-inch variance. Ie. A 12-13 or 16-17 etc.

14" for larger heads.

Double check your supplier,
you want the ones with small insertion heads for dolls, not the regular
cable ties you find in the hardware store. They will work, but you can feel
them.
